Protein-Packed Veggie Omelet

Servings: 1

Ingredients:

  • Butter-flavored cooking spray
  • 1 cup chopped vegetables: onions, green pepper, tomato, mushrooms, etc.
  • 3 egg whites or 1⁄4 cup egg substitute
  • 1 tablespoon skim milk

  • 1⁄2 ounce shredded, low-fat cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation

  1. Spray a nonstick frying pan with the butter-flavored cooking spray. Sauté vegetables over medium heat.
  2. While the vegetables are cooking, beat egg whites or egg substitute with milk and Nutrilite All Plant Protein Powder in a small bowl.
  3. Pour the egg mixture over the vegetables and cook until set.
  4. Sprinkle with cheese, season to taste, and serve.

    I am not much of a meat eater but normally eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, eggs, soy milk & almond eat. This omlett sounds like a good possibility for me since Ivdovuse Amway’s protein powder in various drinks.
