Adam Gomez remembers sitting in front of the television on Sundays clipping coupons. He worked 70 hours a week, but it wasn’t enough to pay the bills. Then his boss was fired at age 62. It was a wakeup call. “I started looking for a way to be my own boss so I could be more in control of my life.”
